Black Tea

Black tea is produced from general tea, black tea contains more like of caffeine, and this substance is a methylxathine that stimulate the central nervous system. Black tea formerly use for dating party in China. The source to produce green tea, black tea and oolong tea can from the same plant, just different of the pre treatment and finishing on the tea leaf.

The high quality of tea leaf, the first was flush leaf bud, this buds called as the first flush, are considered as the highest quality leaves. After this first one is picked then the second flush will grows, and this cycles is continuous until the autumn flush in subtropical season. The poorer qualities of tea are from the leave that picked farther down the stem and often sell this tea product in the traditional market.

As experiment result one cup of tea contains about 50 milligram of caffeine, depending on the strength and size of the tea (this measure is compare to coffee that contain about 65 to 175 milligrams of caffeine per cup). Other substances contain on tea are polyphenols (catechis, anthocyanins, phenolic acids), tannin, trace elements and vitamins.

Tea varieties are differ from growing area such as Ceylon or Assam, and the products are differ from the processing method such as black tea, green tea and oolong tea. The major producer of tea are India, Sri Lanka and the other many like Indonesia, Malaysia. As history, tea has been served as a part of various ceremonies and has been used to stay alert during long meditations.
