Indonesian Tea Plantation
Indonesia have several tea field like in Bogor, Bandung, Purwakarta and Subang. This tea usually the heritage of dutch field before independence day. As the history of tea planting in Indonesia that bring from Japanese by the Germany person Andreas Cleyer, and seed as ornamental plant in Jakarta.
The first big tea plantation is in Purwakarta and Banyuwangi, this become the change for Jacobus Isidorus Loudewijk Levian Jocobson as the tea specialist to open new business in Indonesia, especially in Java. In the 1828 under the Dutch government, Van Den Bosh, tea become the obligatory plant that should be planted by many farmer and civil as the application of growing political force (culture Stelsel).
At that time Dutch government not just planted tea but also sugar cane. Sugar plants have erected along Ciliwung river. From about 130 sugar plant, 50 plant located beside the Ciliwung river. The worker usually through away the sugar cane to the Ciliwung river, this worker don't realize that this action make the river flow plug, but the plant management don't care about this condition.
